Network Data Lead (EA-12520)

Our client is looking for a Network Data Lead to join their team.

Responsibilities:
• Provide L3 support for network transport, routing, DNS, load balancing, NAC, and network automation incidents.
• Monitor network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, load balancers (Citrix NetScaler), routing policies, and segmentation boundaries.
• Execute routine network maintenance, such as firmware updates, configuration adjustments, device health checks, and routing optimization.
• Support onboarding and configuration of network devices following network engineering standards and architecture patterns.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, segmentation, DNS resolution, and application delivery issues.
• Manage and optimize NetScaler ADC platforms.
• Oversee and improve Infoblox DDI, including zone design, DHCP scopes, IPAM hygiene, and large-scale scripted changes.
• Support network capacity planning, SRE practices, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Participate in network lifecycle activities, including device refresh, firmware upgrades, cloud connectivity expansion, and SD WAN/SDN adoption.
• Maintain network asset inventories, topology documentation, routing diagrams, and runbooks.
• Participate in DR rehearsals for network failover, including synthetic monitoring validation.
• Improve operational processes by identifying bottlenecks, recurring issues, and proposing automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with application teams, cloud teams, and vendors to resolve cross-domain network and load-balancing issues.
• Ensure network compliance, including change management, audit requirements, and stable configuration baselines.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of routing protocols, network segmentation models, ADC traffic flows, and DNS architecture.
• Participate in knowledge sharing, operational reviews, and capability building within the team.
• Escalate high-impact network outages or routing issues according to the escalation matrix.
• Lead L2 Network Data analysts and organize an on-call rotation for the team

Requirements:
• Load Balancing & Application Delivery: Advanced expertise with Citrix NetScaler/ADC (L4–L7, SSL offload, GSLB, HA).
• DNS/DHCP/IPAM: Strong knowledge of Infoblox DDI, including zone architecture, DHCP management, IP address automation, and split-horizon DNS.
• Routing & Network Segmentation: Deep understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), network segmentation, and ACL design.
• Certificate Management: Experience managing TLS/cipher suites, HSTS, and certificate lifecycle for network devices and ADC bindings.
• Network Automation: Proficient in Python, Ansible, and APIs for network automation, including Infoblox and NetScaler.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Strong skills in network performance troubleshooting, packet analysis (Wireshark), and TCP/IP deep diagnostics.
• Capacity Planning & SRE Practices: Knowledge of network capacity planning, dependency mapping, and site reliability engineering approaches.
• Firmware & Platform Upgrades: Experience with structured firmware and platform upgrades, automated validation, and rollback procedures.
• Disaster Recovery & Continuity: Planning for network failover, load-balancer failover, and DNS/GSLB resilience.
• Monitoring & Telemetry: Integration of SIEM and monitoring systems for network telemetry, ADC logs, and DNS query logging.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Mentoring L2 analysts in routing, DNS, load balancing, and network troubleshooting; people management for L2 Network Data analysts.
