Their Budapest-based technology hub is looking for a backend application developer with strong Java / Spring Boot expertise to contribute to the development of complex, distributed platforms. These systems feature rich web interfaces (HTML/JavaScript/React) connected to resilient backend services primarily written in Java, enabling users worldwide to assess and manage risk exposure.

The team works in an agile setup, with a flat structure, dedicated Scrum Masters, and daily interaction with Product Owners, fostering close collaboration and fast iteration.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop web applications with React-based UIs on top of a Java / Spring Boot microservices architecture
Maintain and enhance existing applications
Engage daily with global stakeholders to ensure business impact

Requirements:

Strong understanding of OOP and design principles
Proficiency in Java and Spring / Spring Boot
Solid SQL knowledge
Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

Advantages:
