Responsibilities:
• Configure and maintain Kafka infrastructure to support real-time trading data applications.
• Build custom monitoring and observability tools to proactively prevent system outages.
• Collaborate closely with application and infrastructure teams to investigate and resolve production issues.
• Provide early Asia hours support coverage when needed.

Requirements:
• 2–5 years of experience in a data engineering or infrastructure engineering role.
• Strong practical knowledge of Kafka.
• Hands-on skills in Python and Unix/K-Shell scripting.
• Experience with MongoDB
• Solid understanding of database concepts.
• Experience working with trade lifecycles and data flows in financial services is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
