Responsibilities
Develop and enhance market risk applications processing large-scale financial data
Collaborate in a global Agile squad alongside colleagues in North America, Europe, and Asia
Design and build server-side, multi-threaded applications with a focus on scalability and performance
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
Contribute to the modernization of a mission-critical risk management platform
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java (server-side), Spring, and RDBMS
Strong object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design pattern skills
Solid experience building multi-threaded, concurrent applications
Proficiency in Apache Spark and understanding of distributed computing frameworks
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience in developing and optimizing distributed data processing pipelines (Spark, Hive, Python, etc.)
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit) and test-driven development practices
Strong experience with relational databases and complex query optimization
Scripting skills in Shell, Perl, or Python
Agile software development experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and deliver clean, well-documented code
