Finance Manager (SZJ-12378)
About the Role
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for steering all core finance functions, including transactional accounting, tax compliance, treasury, payroll, and audit. You will ensure full adherence to Hungarian statutory requirements while driving efficiency, compliance, and financial excellence in a dynamic, process-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
-- Oversee Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Receivable processes.
-- Ensure accurate period-end closing, reconciliations, and timely reporting.
-- Lead accruals, P&L preparation, and management reporting.
Taxation & Compliance
-- Safeguard compliance with Hungarian VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Eco Tax regulations.
-- Manage tax filings, reconciliations, transfer pricing documentation, and intercompany agreements.
-- Maintain strict adherence to corporate governance and Delegation of Authority (DOA) rules.
Payroll & HR Collaboration
-- Supervise payroll operations in cooperation with HR.
-- Ensure correct handling of payroll tax, filings, and employee reimbursements.
Audit & Reporting
-- Prepare and review statutory financial statements.
-- Lead external and internal audit support, ensuring robust audit readiness.
Treasury & Cash Management
-- Manage supplier payments and banking relationships.
-- Deliver accurate cash flow forecasts and liquidity management.
What We’re Looking For
-- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-- Recognized accounting certification (Hungarian Chartered Accountant, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
-- 7–10 years of progressive accounting and tax experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
-- Strong expertise in Hungarian accounting and tax regulations.
-- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
-- Proven leadership ability with excellent cross-functional coordination skills.
-- Fluent in Hungarian and English.
