Our multinational client is a global provider of advanced catalyst solutions for chemicals industries for which we look for new candidates for a Senior FP&A Financial Analyst position.

Main tasks:
• Cost center master data lead in approving request, validation, approval, follow up and guidance.
• Train/support junior financial analyst on performing the task. Maintain working instructions and identifying and implementing areas of improvement.
• Provide support/guidance and training to cost center owners on the tools and process. Maintain training documentation for cost center users and revise for changes and process improvements. Lead global group trainings 2-3 sessions quarterly.
• Primary support assigned corporate functions on spending and performance.
• Develop and execute accrual accounting for material expenditures. This includes coordination with our Global Business organization.
• Facilitate and coordinate global corporate detailed annual operating plan, 5 year long range planning, and monthly forecast
• Facilitate and coordination of monthly and quarterly financial analysis of actual versus budget and prior forecast variances. Provide monthly reporting and variance explanations. Prepare quarterly SOX analysis with explanations.
• Provide financial analysis support to global cost center owners/leaders.
• Develop ad hoc reports and financial analysis to drive the behavior of the business
• Propose mitigating actions and insights on analysis/reporting results
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement
• Establish strong relationships with global key internal stakeholders to understand their strategy and objectives
• Actively participate on GB training and apply the tools and knowledge acquired
• Support special projects

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in the relevant field (finance, accounting, or economics)
• Fluent in English
• College or university degree preferably in finance/accountancy
• Solid SAP FI knowledge; Functional understanding of SAP BI, HANA/S4
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Ability to create operational management tools for leaders to hold teams accountable to budgets and financial commitments
• Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify issues/opportunities and recommend/implement solutions
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel (Pivot tables, formulas), Word, Power BI, Power Point)
• High confidence to interact with multiple level of leadership up to Executive Management
• Ability to work efficiently, prioritize requests from multiple global stakeholders
• Awareness and reliability of timelines for the timely and accurate reporting of financial performance.
