Responsibilities
• Provide 3rd-level support for networking and telecommunications infrastructure
• Manage incidents and service requests in line with ITIL practices
• Support design, deployment, and post-implementation of network solutions
• Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN/SD-WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and VoIP systems
• Operate network and security components (routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, NAC, etc.)
• Monitor network performance, availability, and service quality
• Maintain documentation, inventory, and technical specifications
• Define and track KPIs and SLAs/OLAs
• Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation
• Maintain monitoring and alerting systems
• Support penetration testing and risk assessments
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Lead modernization and cost-efficiency initiatives
• Ensure smooth operation of global network infrastructure
• Support projects with business cases, capacity planning, and technical input
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer
• Participate in vendor selection and contract processes
• Design technical solutions, network architectures, and cloud-based systems
• Research and implement new technologies and improvements
Requirements
Education
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• ITIL certification or equivalent experience
• CCNA certification (or equivalent / willingness to obtain)
Experience
• Minimum 10 years in IT
• At least 5 years in networking (WAN/SD-WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, VoIP, firewalls)
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, architecture, and troubleshooting
• Experience with Windows server environments (ADDS, ADFS, ADCS, DNS, DHCP)
• At least 3 years with hybrid cloud (O365, Azure AD)
• Experience with Windows Server administration and clustering
Preferred:
• SIEM systems experience
• Advanced PowerShell skills
• Experience with service management tools
Knowledge and Skills
• Strong expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory services
• Understanding of network monitoring tools and protocols
• Knowledge of SSL certificate management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and communication-focused
• Ability to work under pressure and handle incidents
Preferred:
• Experience with SCCM or Intune
• Knowledge of antivirus and endpoint protection tools
