Key responsibilities:
· Maintain and support the ESG data infrastructure, including KPI tracking, datasets, performance dashboards, and documentation.
· Contribute written content, data tables, and visualizations to the annual Sustainability Report.
· Analyze environmental datasets (energy, emissions, water, waste) and non-environmental ESG datasets (governance, safety, HR-related indicators).
· Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key insights for leadership decision-making.
· Perform research and benchmarking on sustainability topics, industry standards, and emerging ESG trends.
· Support and help drive Ketjen’s Sustainability Raters & Rankers program, including preparation, data collection, documentation, and submissions for platforms such as Ecovadis, CDP, and other ESG ratings.
· Coordinate inputs across functions and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely submission.
· Track and document improvement actions to enhance Ketjen’s performance with these external assessments.
· Help track evolving sustainability and ESG regulations and support compliance documentation.
· Assist with internal and external audits by preparing evidence packages, validating data, and maintaining audit-ready records.
· Collect and review supplier ESG documentation to support sustainable sourcing and customer sustainability requirements.
· Assist with supplier assessments and evaluations.
· Support implementation and tracking of sustainability initiatives related to the Sustainability Framework pillars.
· Coordinate project plans, stakeholder meetings, and updates; maintain program documentation and workflows.
· Identify improvement opportunities based on data and stakeholder engagement.
· Prepare presentations, dashboards, and analytical summaries for internal stakeholders and leadership.
· Collaborate frequently with Operations, EHS, Procurement, Engineering, HR, Finance, and other teams to gather data and ensure data accuracy.
· Communicate insights clearly and help embed sustainability practices into everyday business activities.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, environmental data analysis, or a related analytical role.
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel and ability to work with complex datasets.
· Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy under deadlines.
Preferred:
· Experience in chemical manufacturing, industrial operations, or process-heavy environments.
· Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, CSRD) and ESG ratings (e.g., Ecovadis, CDP).
· Experience supporting audit processes or assurance engagements.
· Knowledge of Power BI, or similar data-visualization tools.
