Our multinational partner is currently looking for a Contracts Assistant (Temporary)

Purpose of the role:

Under the supervision of the Contracts Officer (ICS), the Contracts Assistant will administer and process transactions related to the individual consultant contracting cycle. Key responsibilities include Contracts Review Committee (CRC) submission and presentation for high value transactions, reviewing Terms of References (TORs), supporting sourcing and selections, preparing offers, and issuing contracts. All activities are carried out in accordance with Division of People & Culture (DPC) Individual Consultant Procedures and guidance, ensuring timely, accurate delivery aligned with the GSSC`s service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Prepare and submit transactions to Contracts Review Committee (CRC)

· Present at CRC and follow-up on the transactions which require additional action.

· Consultancy lifecycle management

· Process accuracy and compliance

· Collaboration and client service

· Knowledge management and capacity building

Requirements:

· Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses in administration, procurement, human resources, finance or related to the work of the organization is required.

Experience:

· Minimum of five-six (5-6) years of relevant work experience in administration, procurement, human resources or finance is required, preferably in international organization is required. A completed BA degree from an accredited institution qualifies as 3 years experience and will be counted towards the minimum work experience requirement. Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience is required for candidates holding bachelor’s degree in relevant fields. Master’s degree will be considered additional two years of relevant work experience.

· Previous experience in planning, organizing and delivering administrative support services is highly desirable.

· Proven ability to deal with confidential and sensitive communication and information is desirable.

· Proven ability to organize and prioritize is desirable.

· Work experience in a shared services centre context is an asset.
