What you'll be doing

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Tactical Buyer to join our Global Indirect Procurement team. You will be responsible for executing sourcing activities, managing supplier relationships, and supporting category strategies across a diverse range of indirect spend areas, ensuring value creation, compliance, and operational excellence.

You will form part of a busy global procurement team providing procurement support to our global organisation. You will have the opportunity to work on international projects and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple regions, supporting your professional development.

This role is based at our Centre of Excellence in Hungary and offers opportunities for future career development into more senior positions within our global procurement organisation.

On a daily basis
• Execute tactical sourcing activities for indirect categories across our global organisation.
• Support our category managers in implementing category strategies and supplier initiatives.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations, and contract execution within defined thresholds and policies.
• Update and maintain catalogues in the procurement tool for assigned sub-categories.
• Ensure procurement compliance with our corporate policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver optimal procurement solutions.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve operational or commercial issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Utilise procurement sourcing tools to manage requests, bids, and purchase orders efficiently.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and supplier innovation.

What you need to have
• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in tactical or operational procurement, preferably in a large international organisation.
• You are Fluent in English and German.
• You have proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle) and MS Office applications.
• You have understanding of Procure 2 Pay cycle and associated processes.
