Main responsibilities:

-- Strategic purchasing for the assigned material field and region -- Source to Contract S2C
-- Execution and further develop of S2C processes
-- Demand Management: Build effective stakeholder relationship management -- e.g. logistic functions, logistics-, plant- or divisional leaders. Early involvement and project management
-- Contract Management: Use, apply, develop contract template management as well a contract life cycle management
-- Supplier Management: achieve maximal supplier performance by classifying Suppliers and their strategic development. Being a global mentor for large suppliers, applying relationship management up to the board level of multi bn EUR turnover companies, ensuring Quality standards initiating improvement programs and managing supply chain risks
-- Material field strategy: contribute to a global material field strategy applying strategic management tools ensuring the balance of quality, cost, deliveries
-- Sourcing Management, implementation of global strategies for the defined category by ensuring compliance requirements
-- Carry out market analysis to identify and follow current trends
-- Preparation and execution of tenders (RFI / RFQ)
-- Design of negotiation strategy and execution under competition as well as w/o competition
-- Preparation and approval of purchasing decisions / contracts in accordance with the signature regulations
-- Manage suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance, incl. data quality, evaluation- incl. risk management as well as contract management,
-- Ensure productivity, service quality and innovations at your supply base
-- Identify new buying possibilities and strategies, use the full potential of the entire global team
-- Management of Quality complaints and claims compensation
-- Data Management, data entry, maintenance, and quality control of IT-systems (incl. SRM), data consolidation

Requirements:

-- Preferred work experience: 3-5 years in purchasing / commodity buyer or similar position
-- University degree and 5 years minimum professional experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts Management, or equivalent role

-- Data Analysis and profound Microsoft Office knowledge
-- Able to work in a digital environment (Sourcing tools, databases, ect.)
-- Business fluent English knowledge in writing and speech
-- Contract- and price negotiation experience
-- Understanding and knowledge of the supply chain area (logistics, planning, order, etc.)
-- Willing to travel
-- Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking
-- Project management skills and capability to efficiently manage multiple projects
-- Effective listening and communication (verbally and writing) with stakeholders on various hierarchy levels. -- -- Good cross-functional coordination and strong commercial mindset
-- Quality understanding
